Parents: Katharine Hepburn van Darscharia & Roughriders Zwieback Toast of Vidi

Katharine Hepburn van Darscharia (Kat) arrived from Holland in 2002. "Kat" is out of Whoopy Goldberg van Darscharia by Jaeva Gold Blend. She is also related to the wonderfully successful Co-co (Crufts Best In Show this year) through her proven Great Grandpa (on both sides) Richelle Claret. Kat is a light copper red with a perfect bite and pretty head, she has especially nice shaped ears. Kat may be tiny, but she rules the roost!


Roughriders Zwieback Toast of Vidi (Ziggy) arrived from Bern, Switzerland in November of 2003, via Summer Camp in Holland. Very strong with a floating gait he is out of Roughrider Vidi of Jokkmokk by Lobeiro's Super Swede. He is also the grandson of Porrigito Claypot - a World Champion. A big mischievous dog of a rich, bold red, he has a smile and a set of choppers that remind one of the screen actor George Hamilton. He has graciously passed on his rich red colouring and fine smile to our first litter of three, just 1.5 years ago.

Born in March of 2004, Laughing Lyons Charmoneiux and Laughing Lyons Jardinier celebrated their new life with a third littermate, a very handsome brother, Laughing Lyons Harry Winston. Winnie was born a bright, solid red with an exceptionally thick, plushy coat. An unforgettable pup, he also sported a dark-coloured Mohawk down his nose. Laughing Lyons Harry Winston is in a wonderful pet home in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Laughing Lyons Charmoneiux (Charmy) is a very smart, spirited girl with a quick mind and wonderful personality. She is a very vocal Norfolk. Of the two girls, she is of slightly lighter build (lighter bone) and is the true hunter of the bunch. She is very intense, especially when she sights something. Like her Mum, her eyes will burn on you until you get what she is trying to tell you! She has an excellent bite.

Laughing Lyons Jardinier (Pops) is a big love. She loves attention, will go to great lengths to get it. A clown. She is very protective of her owner. Pops has good bone, a very sweet personality and a very willing attitude. I think she will show well. She loves her people, her TV shows and especially her naughty, devilish sister. She has a very good bite like her sister Charmy's.

Katherine Hepburn Van Darscharia & Her New Litter (Born 9/30/2005)

PUPPIES AVAILABLE:
Three very nice male puppies were born in late September. Two, even possibly three may be available before the Christmas Holiday of 2005. (12/15/2005 would be the ideal date for them to be released to new homes)

I do not like to breed a litter without great homes being previously pre-arranged for all of the pups. In this odd instance, two of the three pups are now available.

Katherine Hepburn van Darscharia (Kat) thus far appears to be an excellent foundation female. She again recently free-whelped three strong puppies with ease, each pup was born within 1/2 hour of the other. A bit small, Kat has a charming personality and is a very vocal Norfolk. She is a very happy girl and like both of her daughters sings* from the heart.

*(Most Norfolks make a crooning sound which is described as a "chortle" when they see you - this rumbling greeting is reserved for the humans they love, it sounds a bit like a loud purr from a cat)

Laughing Lyons Renard Rouge

Born with a red head, "Reddy" the smallest pup is more refined in face. He has as a wider eye-set. This little red fox also has a lighter, more square build than his two bigger brothers. He is a big talker for such a little man and chortles a great deal. Maybe his name should be Napoleon.

Laughing Lyons Ziggy Junior

Ziggy Jr. has a black muzzle, round forehead and wonderful plushy dark-red coat. He is very quick and the most vocal.
He has wonderful rumbling coversations with me numerous times a day. It sounds like he is saying "ha! " sometimes, he loves to play and is a very happy, loving pup. Ziggy Jr. has recently been placed in a wonderful home.

Laughing Lyons Teddy Roosevelt

"Teddy" was the first pup to do everything: nurse, crawl, walk, bark. He was the biggest pup until Pup #2 (Ziggy Jr.) caught up. Teddy Roosevelt has a very sweet expression and deliberate gait. He is very active, has a great appetite and plays hard.
